Run flat banden - bimbas - 06-20-2020
Goedemiddag,
Mijn1 serie (316i) wordt geleverd met run flat banden. Ik heb begrepen dat bij vervanging ik weer voor run flat moet kiezen omdat anders, op "gewone" banden de auto heel onstabiel wordt, vanwege de zachtere wang op de band.
Is er bij jullie hier iets over bekend?

Ik had op mijn vorige BMW-116i (achterwielaandrijving) rondom Michelin CrossClimate (vier seizoenen band)
gelegd en dat is mij prima bevallen en ik ga dat weer doen als mijn huidige banden versleten zijn. Let wel ik ben
een 'normale' rijder van 60+ die af en toe best graag even gas geeft maar verder met een vrij rustig rijgedrag.
Ik zou wel een elektrisch 12 volt bandenpompje los bijkopen, kost iets van € 30,=
Zeker met achterwielaandrijving is onder winterse omstandigheden niet te rijden met zomerbanden naar mijn
mening. Michelin CrossClimate voldoet prima voor de Nederlandse omstandigheden.
Zijn tegenwoordig ook verkrijgbaar in de maten:
Michelin CrossClimate+ 225/40 R18 92Y XL
Michelin CrossClimate+ 245/35 R18 92Y XL

Ik rijd in de winter op gewone winterbanden. Rijdt comfortabeler dan runflat. En qua wegligging? Meer stuurgevoel t.o.v. de Bridgestones die er op zaten af fabriek. Ik weet niet wat de Michelins doen als ik die eenmaal rondom heb zitten. Maar runflat of niet runflat kan allebei. Ook bij een moderne BMW F20.
